You do this by sending them emails packed with helpful information that they actually want to read. As a result, the emails help them overcome problems, which makes them like you.

This whole process of continually sending your subscribers value drives interest in your products and your services. It gets them through the different steps of the buying process until they’re ready to buy. And when they are ready, hopefully you’re the one they’re going to think of when they say, “Yep. Sign me up.”

I had a discovery call with someone earlier this week and I was so surprised. They are doing a good job of growing their email list and they’ve been working so hard to get those subscribers. Great job!
Then I discovered that they’re not emailing them. They haven’t sent emails in a very long time. This is so unfortunate. They have an amazing business, amazing offers, and great social media engagement, and a whole bunch of other stuff going for them. Still, they aren’t doing anything with that email list.
This is what we call in marketing “low-hanging fruit”. It’s a ton of opportunity for revenue just sitting there, waiting for them to tap into it.
So, a little statistic for you is that for every dollar you spend on email marketing, there’s a potential ROI of about $38. That’s awesome! Don’t waste that opportunity. You can’t make sales with your email list if you don’t actually send emails out to your audience.
