Why You Should Install the Facebook Pixel & How it Can Change Your Business

What is this magic Facebook pixel that everyone’s talking about?

It’s a piece of code, given to you by Facebook, that you install on your website to track your visitors’ behavior.

What does the Facebook Pixel track?

All kinds of amazing things you’d want to know! Like who is reading your blog or has visited your site in the last ___ number of days? Or who subscribed and become a lead vs who visited your landing page and didn’t opt in? Or who opted in and checked out your calendar but didn’t book a free strategy session? Which people added your product to their shopping cart and didn’t check out? You can track custom conversions as well – like who checked out your signature solution but didn’t buy.

What do you use the Facebook Pixel for?

It was designed to help you measure the ROI on your Facebook ads by tracking conversions. The Facebook Pixel also helps you to optimize your ads and decrease your spending by creating custom audiences for retargeting and lookalike audiences to reach new people who are likely to be interested in your products & services.

Why do I need the Facebook Pixel if I’m not ready to pay for ads?

Even if you’re not ready now, is there a possibility that you might want to explore Facebook ads to grow your business in the future? If so, I highly recommend you install your Facebook pixel now. That way you have the data you need to create custom audiences when you are ready to start advertising.
