Are you wasting your blog traffic? Or maybe you’re not blogging at all?

Do you want more leads and clients? You need two things – a website that is designed to convert visitors into leads and you need visitors! The best marketing funnel in the world won’t do you one ounce of good if your website is like a ghost town with only the stray visitor now an again. You need TRAFFIC before your website can do its job.

Blogging is one of my FAVORITE ways to drive traffic because it helps every area of your business…

Sales • Marketing • SEO • Social Media • Email Nurture • List Building • Lead Generation • Relationship Building • Networking • Leveraging Your Time • etc.

Yes, creating content can be time-consuming (it doesn’t have to be) but of all the things you could be doing to market your business, building a robust blog will become an asset that benefits all areas of your business.

Here are my top 10 reasons why you should create a blog traffic strategy for your business:

  1. Blogging establishes you as an expert in your niche
  2. Keyword rich content is fantastic for boosting your SEO
  3. Blogging gives you content to share on your social channels
  4. Having content to share allows you to drive traffic back to your site from those social channels
  5. Creating fresh content will help you to maintain a healthy and engaged email list – I recommend you send your list your content at least once per week.
  6. Blogging creates an opportunity to promote your lead magnet, services, and products in a non-selling way – you can weave promotions into your content naturally which will increase subscribers, leads, and customers. (Think of product placement in movies!)
  7. Blogging and engaging with your readers develops relationships and deepens your reader’s “know, like & trust” towards you
  8. Blogging gives you an opportunity to educate about your topic and help your readers
  9. Creating content helps you learn how to communicate better with your audience
  10. And finally blogging regularly gives you the ability pixel your visitors from Facebook for retargeting & creating lookalike audiences

So let’s get back to the title of this post…

How do we stop wasting your blog traffic and start maximizing it instead?

Retargeting visitors with ads that lead them to the next step of your funnel!

Most people who visit your site will come through a blog post or article you or one of your readers have shared. When they visit your website they will read/watch/listen to your content, and then most likely, they will move on. Most people won’t convert to subscribers immediately.

If you have a Facebook pixel installed, you can track them with a cookie and deliver ads to them on Facebook in the coming days and weeks. They become warmer leads that are more likely to convert because they are familiar with you and your website.

I created a tutorial last week showing you step-by-step how to install and leverage your Facebook pixel.
